Ingredients
1 – Grinded Melon – 300g
2 – Palm oil – 250ml
3 – Spinach – 250g
4 – Fresh pepper – 350ml
5 – Hot pepper (Grinded pepper) – 50g
6 – Tomato paste – 1 table spoon
7 – Stockfish – 300g
8 – Dried fish – 500g
9 – Onion – 225g
10 – Protein (Personal Preference)
11 – Seasoning (Salt, Maggi, Onga)
Instructions
– Get your Melon (300 grams)
– Add 250ml of red oil in a pot
– Slice one clove of onion and add to the pot.
– Blend 7 pepper fruits and add as well.
– Also add a tablespoon of tomato paste and allow to fry for 5 – 10 minutes (stir and fry)
– Add your melon to the mixture, mix thoroughly and allow to fry for 3 – 5minutes.
– Add 3 litres of liquid; 1.5 litres of meat stock and 1.5 litres plain water to the mixture, stir and allow to boil for 7 – 8minutes.
– Add seasoning; 2 cubes of maggi (10 grams), 2 teaspoons of salt (apply discretion since the meat stock is already seasoned and savory).
– Add your meat and fish, allow to boil for another 6mins.
– Taste and see if it is to desired taste, if not, you can add more seasoning.
6 mins before you deem it ready, add your sliced spinach and stir, allow to cook for about 10 minutes and your food is ready
