Ingredients

1 – Rice – 1kg
2 – Banga – 2 tins
3 – Fresh Pepper – 300g
4 – Onion – 250g
5 – Crayfish – 300g
6 – Dried Fish – 600g
7 – Banga Spice – 50g
8 – Seasoning (Maggi, Salt, Grinded Pepper)

Instructions

– Wash your rice properly, then soak in hot water for 15 minutes.
– Whilst waiting, thinly slice one clove of onion.
– Chop 4 pepper fruits – thinly sliced and set aside.
– Add your banga liquid in a pot (at least 6 litres)
– Allow to boil for 10 minutes, then extract the oil on top and set aside.
– Add your onion, pepper, Maggi seasoning (10grams x 3), ½ tablespoon of salt to the boiling banga liquid and allow to boil for another 10 minutes.
– Add in your rice and allow to boil for 40 mins.
– When the rice is soft and mashy, bring in the oil extract you set aside and pour on the top of the rice and mix thoroughly and allow to boil for 15 minutes and your food is ready.
